Presentation Improvement
Achieve Presentation Success through Improved Techniques and Skills
Project-Specific Concept, Development + Coaching
Practice Clarity begins this engagement by working with you on an actual presentation opportunity. This gives us the ability to immediately apply key strategies for improving presentation techniques.
Pre-Presentation
To begin, Practice Clarity requests a copy of the RFP, Proposal, any due diligence gathered to date, and any other pertinent information. After we’ve had a chance to review the materials, we conduct research and coach you through further information gathering on your end.
Presentation Development
We then work together to develop your presentation. We let you walk us through your typical approach and then collaborate with you to develop concepting, strategy, key messages and sequences. We’ll share techniques we’ve found to be very successful and coach you on how to connect with the selection committee. We assist you with strategy session synopses, presentation outline and agenda writing. We can also help with scripting parts of the presentation, if needed.
Rehearsal
After your team has had a chance to put your materials together and forward them to us for review, we meet for a rehearsal. Typically we run through the presentation twice. We offer feedback and make adjustments. We work with the skills you have and emphasize how to clarify, simplify and summarize your key points.
Post-Presentation
Immediately following the presentation we conduct a debrief conversation to arrive at meaningful follow-up tactics.
Debrief
Whether you team is selected or not, Practice Clarity conducts debriefs with up to three selection committee members and share with you what we learn about how you can improve your ability to communicate with this prospective client.
Our approach to presentation training is a comprehensive investment in improving how your firm presents. If you’re making the shortlist, but not bringing in the work, this process can help to improve your success rate.
