Designed 15-week curriculum for MBA-level students regarding development of an integrated marketing communications program involving all components of the marketing mix: traditional print and broadcast advertising, direct mail, sales promotion, personal selling, e-communications, public relations and publicity. Leveraged client relationships to sponsor four semester-long live case studies: Destination Cape Breton, Nova Scotia to increase US tourism, PF Publishing to launch a new art show in Washington DC; Arkinetics to introduce the new service of Urban Design; Hilroy (Mead WestVaco’s Canadian division) to increase back-to-school sales and launch a website.

Worked intensely with top corporate officials through a successful major financial restructuring.
Investor Relations – Responsibilities included maintaining current stock information, responding to shareholder inquiries, maintaining contact with Dun & Bradstreet, Standard & Poors, Dow Jones and other financial reports and institutions to ensure that information reported about the company was accurate.

Business Development Manager – Direct revenue responsibilities for selling seismic and structural engineering services to Federal, state and local clients, and private clients in the high technology industry. Generated leads, initiated and maintained contact with prospective clients, strategized client and project opportunities. In FY 1991, made significant contributions toward procurement of more than $1 million in fees from new clients including the City of San Francisco, BART, Sun Microsystems and GSA.
Marketing Services Manager – Marketing communications manager for a 60-person, full-service engineering firm. Managed, wrote, designed and scheduled all marketing information including proposals, presentations, standard forms 254 and 255, resumes, project profiles, national sales literature, brochures, convention displays and newsletters. Wrote, strategized, designed and developed more than 400 proposals and qualifications packages and coached more than 100 presentations. Contributed to long- and short-term planning, set strategic marketing objectives, and designed strategies for new markets and large clients.

Covered conferences for article leads.
Market Research Manager – Responsible for all phases of survey research for the Pro-Trac Survey of Financial Professionals entailing quarterly written questionnaire, sample size 2,500, and bimonthly phone surveys, sample size 100. Wrote and produced survey instrument, and managed outside vendors for distribution and data tabulation. Selected sample, conducted interviews and analyzed research data.
